The Nursery

Growing Fields

We have 11 growing fields here on the nursery, two of which are reserved for propagation,  and two of which are reserved for u-pick seasonal flowers. Our growing fields are bordered with pollinator gardens for the bees, wasps, and butterflies along with hedgerows of flowering trees and shrubs that provide fruit and shelter for the birds. As you shop through our fields we hope you feel ensconced by beauty and find yourself escaping into the wild magic of nature.

The Greenleaf Greenhouse

Our greenhouse is a 30'x80' third-hand structure, purchased from a nursery, formerly Green Leaf Nursery in  Register, Georgia, hence its name, The Greenleaf Greenhouse. We love old and used things, things with a story, and operate with a spirit of sustainability. In the Greenleaf Greenhouse we start flowers from seed, grow plants from plugs, and overwinter our most tender varieties.

The Meadow

To build the nursery, we cleared 3.2 acres of scrub oak and pine and have reserved a portion of our nursery for a wildflower meadow, which will hope will become a hotspot of biodiversity and customer interest.

We started with Reedy Creek Nurseries with a blank canvas, and while it will take multiple seasons to realize its full vision, we look forward to what the future holds. There is nothing more thrilling to us than watching something grow.
